THE STORY (short version)
The beginning
Hello My name is Dave Trachet I'm the designer and founder of ULTerra Camo clothing and accessories.
I am also the owner-operator of BAM Customs. I have been in the firearms industry since 2012. Everything from gunsmithing to custom builds, but my core is firearm cerakote finishes and graphic design.
I have grown up hunting and fishing from Nevada to Michigan to Tennessee and have traveled most of the U.S.
Camo has always been a passion of mine, but I never knew I would design my own camouflage clothing and apparel! 8+ years ago I decided I was getting tired of copying everyone's camo patterns and putting them on firearms, in fact I just got plain bored of seeing the same patterns over and over again. I decided I wanted to develop something functional that has never been seen before.
Over a few years and collaborating with many customers, colleagues, friends, LEO and military personnel looking for new camo hunting clothes ULTerra started to emerge.
What was developed was a 3D offset pattern with linear disruption and a combination of organic and inorganic shapes. I custom developed colors and shades from different regions.
Our pattern is functional, unique, and proven throughout the regions of the United States.
